Spokane Rebrands Itself The Capital of Creation
The tourism board for the city of Spokane, Washington has launched a new brand identity to support economic development in the region.
The branding initiative, led by Stoke Strategy, involved a research program, brand strategy and positioning, concept testing, design of a new identity system, and leadership training sessions.
The selected brand position – The Capital of Creation – recognizes Spokane’s place as a vibrant metropolitan center serving as the cultural, economic, educational and social hub of the Intermountain Northwest. The new identity is being rolled out across websites, advertising and environmental graphics across the city this fall.
“As a Spokane native, I was personally thrilled to work with our great partners at Visit Spokane in this rebranding effort,” said Erin Quick, Stoke Partner and Design Director. “Now everyone can see why we love this city.”
